After studying beauty therapy and media makeup at college, I left feeling unsure and unsupported. The creative spark was there, but the confidence wasn’t — and once the course ended, so did the guidance. I ended up in finance, climbing the corporate ladder, but never feeling fulfilled.
Then came March 2020 — a global pandemic and three months at home with my son. It made me rethink everything. I wanted more flexibility, more purpose. One day, I told my husband, “I’m going to retrain as a nail tech.”
After qualifying, I invested in a business coach and learnt how to actually build a business — attracting the right clients and creating a brand. I spent thousands, but it paid off. Within six months, I’d matched my corporate salary working evenings and weekends — and soon after, I tripled it.
Education was always the next step for me. I'm passionate about offering courses that truly prepare students to launch and grow their own businesses — with real, ongoing support that goes far beyond the final day of training.
